FUCK they are the only ones I use!

A while back i got a request to remove the PETA table from my blog along with some stories about some poor birds that were electricuted and a few animals that were euthanized because they were very hurt or sick.. anyway i of course refused to delete it because i just cant accept that 85% of the animals they have recived (95% in recent years) were so hurt or so sick that euthanasia was the only option. i had a feeling there was a reason she was defending peta, and of couse it’s because she posed nude with this cute cat for them. Here is the article where she claims that peta can provide euthanasia for those who cant afford veterinary care.. veterinary care… cant a company that generates 35,000,000 a year + provide veterinary care for an animal that only needs veterinary care?!

This is a sad fact of PETA.  Regardless of their $30 million + annual revenue, we keep hearing stories about how they just don’t have enough money.  Perhaps they should stop spending thousands of dollars on advertisement and aiding eco-terrorism under the table and focus on the animals instead?  Just a thought.

I’d also like to point out that the SPCA is a No-kill shelter that vows not to euthanize any animal that doesn’t suffer from un-treatable illnesses or social handicap (sadly violent animals cannot be adopted out.  I’ve never liked the idea of putting down an animal just because it bites the hand that feeds it, but there’s no way I could condone putting it in a home either.  The only way I can see out of this is if a non-profit organization rose up that took in and sheltered violent animals to the end of their lifespan).

to the girl that wrote the article, i know u would never give that pretty little cat to PETA if you were hospitalized or something happened to you where you couldnt provide a home for her any longer. i know if u loved that cat you would break your ties with PETA regardless of what they’ve done to boost your fame, etc.

Just to share a story, I used to work in PR for an animal related industry organisation that kept an eye on the activities of PETA amongst other groups. Whilst there I learnt that PETA are largely responsible for the animal terrorism laws that are now in place in the UK. Amongst other things, some of their members have been known to go in to pet shops, buy up all the pets, euthanase them in the back alley behind the pet shop and leave the bodies in the dumpsters there. They simply want any industry dealing with animals to be shut down.
