PLEASE HELP!
Oscar, poor little guy was diagnosed with Lymphoma – a terminal cancer – in addition to a raging skin infection. FBRN has an update from Oscar’s brave foster momma for you.
“He is being treated for his skin. He had a culture done and it is not MRSA, thankfully. He is showing improvement very slowly, but at least it is some. We are waiting to do a biopsy until the infection is somewhat under control. His biopsy will also be pretty costly as he will most likely need two…a skin biopsy and a lymph node biopsy.”
You’ll notice from the bottom row of photos that even with just a few days of new antibiotics from the dermatologist, his skin is already starting to heal. Oscar loves human attention. His foster momma pets him ever so gently, takes it super slow in the bath tub, feeds him satin balls from her hand, and makes cozy blankets for him to snuggle with. Oscar no doubt has all the love and attention he could possibly need, but what we’re lacking is…any guesses? Money. Please donate today to help with his vet bills.
